Understanding Technology Evidence in Intimate Partner Violence Cases

The Stalking Resource Center, in collaboration with the National Judicial Institute on Domestic Violence, announces a new webinar series on the intersection of technology and stalking. This two part webinar series is for assisting judges in hearing criminal, protection order, and violation of protection order cases involving intimate partner violence and technology.

The first webinar, entitled "Stalking: The Hidden Crime," will be held on July 12, 2017 at 12pm ET. Part I of this webinar series will explore the importance of recognizing stalking in intimate partner violence cases.

Part II, "Understanding Technology Evidence in Intimate Partner Violence Cases," will be held on August 11, 2017 at 12pm ET. This webinar will explore ways in which offenders misuse technology, including smart phones, computers, cameras, global positioning systems (GPS), and many online spaces to harass, abuse, and stalk.
